67 (Welch) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) formed in August 1940 by the transfer of 6th (Glamorgan) Battalion The Welch Regiment (67 Searchlight Regiment) (TA) to the RA. The Regiment served in Anti-Aircraft Command until its conversion into garrison troops. It was converted to 67 Garrison Regiment in November 1944 and to 608 Infantry Regiment RA in February 1945. It was re-constituted as 602 (Welch) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
