45 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA)

45 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) formed in August 1940 by the transfer of 45 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Anti-Aircraft Battalion Royal Engineers (TA) to the RA. The Regiment served in Anti-Aircraft Command in the West Midlands until conversion to LAA. 45 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) was converted to 122 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA in February 1942. It was re-constituted as 580 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
