80 (Scottish Horse) Medium Regiment RA (TA) was formed as a duplicate of 79 (Scottish Horse) Medium Regiment RA (TA) in April 1940 at Welbeck, Worksop. The Regiment moved to North Africa in April 1943. It also served in Sicily and Italy. It went into suspended animation in November 1945. 80 (Scottish Horse) Medium Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in January 1947.
