76 (Shropshire Yeomanry) Medium Regiment RA (TA) was formed as a duplicate of 75 (Shropshire Yeomanry) Medium Regiment RA (TA) in April 1940 at Whitchurch. It moved to the Middle East at the end of 1942. Having served in Egypt, Iraq and Palestine, they then moved to Italy. The Regiment went into suspended animation in November 1945. 76 (Shropshire Yeomanry) Medium Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in January 1947.
