33 Light Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was formed in August 1943 by re-designation of RHQ 33 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment with 67 & 68 Batteries plus 274 & 275 Anti-Tank Batteries from 69 Anti-Tank Regiment. In September 1944, RHQ 33 Light Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was re-designated 33 Anti-Tank Regiment. 68 Battery converted to 78 Anti-Tank Battery and 67 Battery was disbanded. The Regiment was reconstituted as 533 Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
