23 Light Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank (Parachute) Regiment RA (TA) was formed by conversion of 23 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment. It had three batteries converted from Light Anti-Aircraft Batteries to dual role Light Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank. The Regiment was placed into suspended animation in February 1946 and reconstituted as 523 (Gloucestershire) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
