Infantry Regiments RA

The official title of the regiments was Regiment RA. I have included Infantry in the title to make their function clear. They were never intended for a front line role but rather to perform occupation duties thus freeing trained infantrymen for front line service.

Seven Infantry Brigades were formed from the Infantry Regiments RA all seeing service in either NW Europe or Norway. Each Regiment consisted of 5 batteries lettered A to E.
