52 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Heavy Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 105 Field Regiment RA (TA) in November 1939. It was disbanded in June 1940 and re-formed in March 1943 at Fleetwood. 52 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Heavy Regiment RA (TA) was placed in suspended animation in April 1946 and reconstituted as 305 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Medium Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
