75 (Home Counties)(Cinque Ports) Anti-Aircraft Brigade RA (TA) was formed in November 1938 by conversion of 59 Field Brigade RA (TA). It was re-designated as 75 (Home Counties)(Cinque Ports) Anti-Aircraft Regiment in January 1939. In June 1940 it was it became 75 (Home Counties)(Cinque Ports) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA). It served in the UK until moving to the Middle East in August 1942. The Regiment was placed in suspended animation in July 1944. 75 (Home Counties)(Cinque Ports) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 259 (Home Counties)(Cinque Ports) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
