72 (Hampshire) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA)

72 (Hampshire) Anti-Aircraft Brigade RA (TA) was formed in November 1938 by the conversion of 95 (Hampshire) Field Brigade RA (TA). It was re-designated as 72 (Hampshire) Anti-Aircraft Regiment in January 1939. In June 1940 it became 72 (Hampshire) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA). The Regiment was placed in suspended animation in January 1945. 72 (Hampshire) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 295 (Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
