6th Battalion The Royal Warwickshire Regiment (TA) was converted to 68 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Anti-Aircraft Brigade RA (TA) in December 1936. It was re-designated as 69 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1939 and became Heavy Anti-Aircraft in June 1940. The Regiment was placed in suspended animation in January 1945. 69 (Royal Warwickshire Regiment) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 469 (The Royal Warwickshire Regiment) (M) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
