179 (Mixed) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Blatchington in October 1942. The Regiment was in Anti-Aircraft Command for its entire war. 179 (Mixed) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in May 1945 at Llandaff North, Whitchurch, Cardiff.
