165 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Clifton, Bristol in July 1942. The Regiment served in Anti-Aircraft Command until March 1944 when it transferred to 2 Army. It went to Normandy in June 1944 and fought through France, Holland and Germany ending at Hamburg. 165 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in January 1946 in NW Europe.
