140 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Bristol in December 1941. The Regiment served in Anti-Aircraft Command for its entire war. 140 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in April 1946 at Weymouth, Dorset to resuscitate 6 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA.
