10 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was formed as 10 Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA at Gibraltar in December 1939. It was re-designated as 10 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA in June 1940. The Regiment was disbanded in Gibraltar and re-formed in Malta in November 1940. RHQ was disbanded in June 1943 to re-form RHQ 68 Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA(TA) with the existing batteries also transferring.
