79 Anti-Aircraft Brigade

79 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was formed in February 1943 in the Middle East. It was attached to 8 Army until May 1943 when it moved to British Troops Egypt. In January 1944 it was in the Levant under GHQ Palestine. It returned to BTE in June 1944 where it was disbanded in the August. It is not shown on any of the Orders of Battle and the information here is based mainly on a post-war list of AA Brigade deployments.
