100 Anti-Aircraft Brigade

100 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was formed in April 1943 at Cliftonville, Kent. In May it moved to Blandford in Dorset. By November it was at Northampton. In June 1944 it was under 21 Army Group, part of GHQ AA Troops England. By September it was with 2 Army, supporting 30 Corps between Arras & Antwerp. In October it had advaced to Nijmegen and consequently took over defence of the Mook & Grave bridges. By December it was at Weert, Deurne & Helmond. It took part in Operation Veritable (Reichswald) supporting 8 Corps. In March 1945 they were at Xanten under 12 Corps protecting the bridge. 100 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was disbanded in February 1946.
