512 (East Riding) Coast Regiment RA (TA)

512 (East Riding) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was formed from a part of the East Riding Heavy Regiment RA (TA), in July 1940. In January 1945, RHQ was converted to 617 Infantry Regiment RA (TA) at Gorleston, Great Yarmouth and the batteries all joined 526 Coast Regiment RA (TA). RHQ 512 (East Riding) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was placed in to suspended animation in October 1945 and  was reconstituted in January 1947 as 422 (East Riding) Coast Regiment RA (TA).
