The information for a Gun Battery 1941 is based on two publications. The establishment is based on War Establishment 79/W.E./1934 (S.D.3) dated 25 February 1941. The organisation is taken from Artillery Training Volume 1, Pamphlet 2B, 1941. RHA & Field Regiments – Battle Drill and Manœuvre for the Reconnaisance and Occupation of Positions dated 20th August 1941. However, the Gun Battery 1941 organisation given in the Training Pamphlet is noted as being for guidance only.
